Of course, for some of the cities, the explosion in popularity makes sense (for example, a city that hosted the 2018 Winter Olympics had a 2,175% bookings spike) than others and we see it as our duty to inform our readers about those less prominent places. Also, expect to see destinations that have been longtime favorites for Airbnb travelers such as Paris or New York.
25. Mar del Plata, Argentina
Located a few hours from the capital of Buenos Aires, Mar del Plata is a scenic beach town that sees most of its tourist visiting in the months of December to March. There National Sea Festival which takes place in December is particularly popular among tourists.
