According to Airbnb themselves, these next 10 destinations are extremely popular and definitely worth a visit.
So if you don’t want to miss out on some top-notch travel tips & destinations, keep on reading. Get ready to get inspired.

The following list was oriented towards British travellers. Based on which cities they visit more than others. Currently, Eastern Europe seems to be a very popular destination. These cities may not all be equally known to all, but definitely worth a long weekend stay.

1. ISTANBUL, TURKEY

In Istanbul you can enjoy the culture by visiting various mosques, bazaars and Turkish baths. Do not forget to get some fresh herbs and fruits from the Bazaar to taste some of that wonderful Turkish culture.

2. KIEV, UKRAINE

This beautiful city has many theaters, ancient ruins and museums. From the Museum of the Great Patriotic War you have a beautiful view over the city.

3. SERRIS, FRANCE

Serris is a somewhat unknown destination but definitely a must-see site to visit. This cosy city is less than an hour’s drive from Paris, so if you happen to be around, do pop in.

4. CORFU, GREECE

Corfu is a beautiful green Greek island. It is less than two kilometres wide, but there is a lot to discover, such as numerous restaurants and shops.

5. SLIEMA, MALTA

In Sliema you can stroll along hiking trails that show you the entire city. Don’t forget the stunning coast.

6. CORK, IRELAND

Picturesque canals, cosy pubs: you’ll find it all on the Irish south coast. It is a region with colourful fishing villages and castles which you must visit.

7. BRATISLAVA, SLOVAKIA

Bratislava is known for its Baroque architecture and its extremely historically rich past. You can taste some delicious local food or visit several old castles. Perfect for lovers of culture.

8. VIENNA, AUSTRIA

Vienna is the capital of Austria and has a fascinating history with various museums and historic buildings: plenty to do during a (short) city trip.

9. SAN PAWL IL-BAHAR, MALTA

Malta is included on the list twice. You can go for walks in the quiet fishing village of San Pawl il-Bahar or St Paul’s Bay. You can also view the bay and the uninhabited St. Paul’s Islands.

10. VILNIUS, LITHUANIA

Vilnius is the capital of Lithuania, but still relatively unknown. Definitely a candidate for a great city trip. The historical center of the city certainly has a lot to offer with its rich history.
